Artisan Assistant (Electrical)

Experience:
Appropriate experience of maintenance and repairs of electrical components.
 
Duties (key result areas/ outputs):
Effective and efficient assistance with maintenance and repairs of electrical fixtures and components, including projects, installations and alterations, as well as other areas when needed. Assist and perform preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.Efficiently and effectively stock control. Efficiently and effectively controlled equipment, tools and working area. An effectively supported HR function.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Grade 10 (or equivalent).
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of and apply the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as read, write and follow written instructions including manuals and written procedures. Ability to optimally utilise allocated resources such as tools and materials and be skilled in the usage of a variety of tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to adhere to safety standards.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Willing to work overtime if requested. Must be physically able to perform the duties required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 183 279 - R 215 892 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
