| Development and implementation of basic patient care. Responsible for patient care within SANC Scope of Practice and competency training as required. Provide basic clinical nursing care. Effective health promotion and information to patient/client and community by participation in Community events and initiating awareness of health-related issues. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources within the limited budget constraints. Maintain and participate in inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teamwork but able to work independently. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development. |

| Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. |

| Knowledge and insight of relevant legislation and policy related to nursing within the public sector. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) to be able to communicate, capture patient information, check results and capture data. Ability to promote quality patient care through the implementation of protocols, guidelines, and standards. |

Remuneration:
|
|
Grade 1: R 209 112 per annum, Grade 2: 248 613 per annum, Grade 3: R 290 805 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
