Staff Nurse Grade 1 to 3 (2 posts)

Duties (key result areas/ outputs):
Development and implementation of basic patient care plans to manage the physical care of patients. Effective basic clinical nursing care of patients by managing the burden of disease. Effective utilization of resources by managing stock and equipment. Manage self-development and keeping ethical standards through effective management of professional growth and ethical standards.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Enhance patient care through the implementation of SOP’s, policies, and guidelines.
 
Experience:
Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with SANC as Staff Nurse.

Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse.
 
Registration with a professional council:

Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Will be required to work shifts including night duty, weekends, and public holidays. Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational needs. Ability to work under pressure.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade 1: R 209 112 per annum, Grade 2: 248 613 per annum, Grade 3: R 290 805 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
