| Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. |

| Knowledge and insight of relevant legislation and policy related to nursing within the public sector. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) to be able to communicate, capture patient information, check results and capture data. Ability to promote quality patient care through the implementation of protocols, guidelines, and standards. |

| Management of Burden of disease in accordance with the guidelines and protocols of the western cape. Provide quality of care to acute care, chronic, woman health and children/ well baby services. Maintain of all records accurately inclusive of clinical records and statistics registers. Effective utilization of Resources/Stock and equipment within the limited budget constraints. Maintain and participate in inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teamwork but able to work independently. Improving quality of health services to the surrounding communities. |

Remuneration:
|
|
Grade 1: R 209 112- R 237 441 per annum, Grade 2: R 248 613- R 283 347 per annum, Grade 3: R 290 805- R 362 187 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
