Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to work under pressure with set deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to execute duties accurately and thoroughly. Must be able to work independently or in a team and under supervision. Knowledge of how to operate computer hardware.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Revenue Department.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy (Word, Excel) in terms of collating, interpreting and inserting data into a spreadsheet.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Handling of patient account enquiries. Perform all duties associated with the follow up and collection of outstanding accounts. Ensure correctness of patient invoices. Clearing of Inter-responsiblity Account and Medscheme accounts. Billing of patient accounts and allocate payments. Handling of state monies.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate with Mathematics /Mathematical Literacy / Accountancy as a passed subject.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 216 417- R 254 928 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
