A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. |

Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse. (This dispensation is only applicable for posts of Clinical Programme Co-ordinator where it is an inherent requirement of the post, incumbent to maintain registration with the SANC). |

Good interpersonal relations, leadership and communication skills (verbal and written) The ability to interpret, analyse, and implement clinical policies, guidelines. Knowledge of development of protocols and guidelines, standard operating procedures. Project management skills as well as good report writing skills and facilitation skills. Experience and ability to transfer knowledge and skill in a group as well as individual setting. Experience in Nursing Education and facilitation |

Overall management of the nursing component development and training of the district. Coordinate and facilitate the development of learning opportunities for all nursing personnel. Manage and administer the implementation of the informal nurse training programmes. Manage and coordinate administrative duties in the nurse training sub-component. Manage the clinical accompaniment/ mentorship programmes. |

Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse. |

|
Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB Manual) and willingness to travel in the district. Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point). |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 520 560 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
