Note:
“Candidates who are not in possession of the stipulated registration requirements, may also apply. Such candidates will only be considered for appointment on condition that proof of application for registration to register with the relevant council and proof of payment of the prescribed registration fees to the relevant council are submitted on or before the day of the interview.” This concession is only applicable on health professionals who apply for the first time for registration in a specific category with the relevant council (including individuals who must apply for a change in registration status)”.
 
Experience:
Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Provide quality basic nursing care. Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Assist Patients with activities of daily living which includes Patient Hygiene, Nutritional status, mobility and elimination needs. Maintaining professional growth, Ethical standards and Self-development. Record Keeping.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work overtime when necessary and to work at other facilities within the Sub-district.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade 1: R 165 177 -188 865 per annum, Grade 2: R 192 675 -R 218 667 per annm, Grade 3: R 227 070 -R 283 347 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
