Artisan Production Grade A to C (Electrical)

Requirements: Minimum Educational Qualification:
Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in the field.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Conversance with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85). Good communication skills.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
General maintenance and repair of electrical items and equipment. Manage the control of tools, equipment and stock. Ability to maintain mechanical and electrical installations, as well as all General Maintenance work. Render assistance to the chief artisan and effective supervision and training of subordinates. The ability to perform basic duties and record-keeping.
 
Experience:
Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in an area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in an area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence and willingness to travel. Willingness to be available after hours. Willingness to be on standby and work overtime.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade A: R 230 898 - R 256 263 per annum, Grade B: R 270 915 - R 300 675 per annum, Grade C: R 314 751 - R 386 775 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
