Appropriate experience in a large-scale Industrial Food Service Unit. |

No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for other vacant Food Service Aid posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from date of advert. Candidates will be subjected to a practical/written assessment. |
|
|
Prepare, cook and serve meals for the patients. Clean and maintain the kitchen area and equipment and maintain hygiene standards. Dress according to Departmental specifications and adhere to Hospital Policy. Ability to prepare food according to standardised recipes. Ability to be trainable in preparing of normal and therapeutic diets. Following and adhere to Health and Safety Regulations. |

Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Ability to work in large scale freezers and cold rooms. Physically strong to lift heavy objects and be on their feet the entire day. |

Remuneration:
|
R 131 265 per annum - R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
