Experience:
Appropriate/recognisable experience in a central laundry.
 
Minimum requirement:
Basic numeracy and literacy.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good interpersonal skills. Sound Knowledge of Health and Safety rules in a laundry and linen environment. Sound knowledge of the disciplinary process.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Incumbent must be prepared to work on a rotation basis. Physically fit.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform supervisory functions to ensure the maintenance of a clean, hygienic, and safe environment. Operating of various laundry machines and equipment. Perform daily routine inspection of machinery and operating areas. Report defects on laundry machines and equipment. Mixing of detergents and chemicals. Comply with safety standards and ensure a safe working environment.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 155 148- R 182 757 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
