A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession. |

After-hour service is compulsory. |

Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council (HPCSA) as a Clinical Technologist: Cardiovascular Perfusionist (Independent Practice). |

|
Knowledge in all aspects of Cardiothoracic procedures. Skilled in all aspects of Cardiothoracic perfusion. Knowledge of Supply Chain and Financial regulations in the acquisition of equipment and consumables. Skills to purchase new equipment and consumables. Good computer skills in MS Word and Excel. Ability to work with and without supervision and work within a group with all levels of staff. Must be able to manage Cardiovascular perfusion. Must be able to work under pressure. Understanding the procurement process. Training Paediatric cardiopulmonary bypass. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 520 785 per annum - R 578 367 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
