An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or Degree. |
|

An aptitude for working with financial figures and financial models. Ability to analyze and interpret financial information to be used for informed decisions making by management. Ability to work in a team context and provide support to senior finance staff. Computer literacy in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. A sound knowledge of BAS, PFMA, Provincial and National Treasury Regulations, Finance Instructions and Financial Delegations. Ability to work under pressure and independently or within a team. |

Appropriate experience. |
|
|
Assist with the completion of monthly BMI projections and Cash flow. Draw financial reports, analyze data, highlight variables and trends and provide customized reports for senior managers in Finance. Authorizing BAS payments and journals within the appropriate delegations and legislation. Provide support and guidance to the Institutions within MHS (Metro Health Services). Training and assistance to be given to hospital staff on financial models. Provide support to the Assistant Director: Finance in the CD Office. |

Excellent communication skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. A valid (code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel within the Cape Metropole. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517-R 397 104 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
