Ability and experience to fault-find and repair equipment, compile technical specifications for equipment and adhere to all legal requirements, protocols, and procedures. Computer literate (Excel, MS Word and Outlook). Computer and software skills with smart tech, such as automated guided systems comprising maintenance management systems. |

Appropriate experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, heavy and light current electrical systems. Appropriate experience of the repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Appropriate experience in automation and automated guided systems. Appropriate experience in managing, planning and organising maintenance schedules on equipment. Appropriate experience in building, maintenance and management systems. |

National Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (T-stream) or (equivalent qualification). |

Render a quality electrical, mechanical and building service to the institution. Administrative duties in a structured manner. Control of scheduled services to the institution. Provide and maintain technical backup and support to the institution. Involved in procurement, supply chain and contract management. Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems. |

|
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Do standby duties and handle after-hour callouts. Good written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517-R 397 104 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
