|
A Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification in Social Work that allows registration with the SACSSP as a Social Worker. |
|
|
A minimum of 7 years appropriate experience in Social Work after registration as an Social worker with SACSSP. |
|
|
Comprehensive and Operational Management of Social work services and an Interdisciplinary Team within a Rehabilitation environment. Financial and Asset management within resources and according to the prescripts of Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness. Comprehensive People Management and development of staff in relevant and delegated section. Information Management to promote service delivery policy development and implementation at WCRC. Liaison with internal (DOH) stakeholders to improve continuity of care. Liaison with external stakeholders in respect with training, research and innovation in the field. |

Registration with the SACSSP as a Social worker. |
|
|
Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation- and conflict-resolution skills. Competency in Public Sector People Management, including Supervisory and Managerial skills in Health related setting, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, and Labour relations. Competency in information management (data management, analysis, interpretation, target setting, monitoring and evaluation) with the appropriate computer literacy skills. Appropriate supervisory experience in a Health environment. |

Valid driver’s licence. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 432 348-R 500 715 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
