Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Warehouse – Assets - Buyer) (3 posts)

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Applied knowledge of the Accounting Officer’s System and SCM Delegations of the Department Computer literacy (MS Office). Knowledge of the PFMA, National and Provincial Treasury Instructions and Accounting Officer System.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in a Supply Chain Environment including Warehousing, Assets and Procurement. Appropriate experience in the LOGIS System.

Candidates may be subjected to a competency test. No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Only officials employed within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for the post.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensure accurate stock control. ie. verify stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum levels. Manage inventory effectively in terms of the storage, cleanliness and safe keeping of items. Ensure proper Asset Management i.e. Planning, Maintaining, Movements, Disposals and Stocktaking are performed. Work on LOGIS & Institutions systems. Assist with compiling and management of Annual Procurement Plan.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Good written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Willingness to rotate within Supply Chain Section and relieve colleagues.

Requirement:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R202 233 - R235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
