Note:

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to function as a team player, with or without supervision. Computer literacy (MS Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to function under stressful environment and cope with a heavy workload. Knowledge of the Human Resource Management Legislation and Policies. PERSAL knowledge and proficiency.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Persal and Human Resource Management functions.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform all administrative duties related to Personnel administration. Process WCA’s, Pension’s, Leave, PILIR’s and incapacity cases. Provide advice regarding the application of HR policies and practices. Handle personnel queries and correspondence. Capture allowances (S&T’s, Overtime, Housing, etc.) on the PERSAL system.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid Code B/EB driver’s license. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
