Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management in a buying capacity. Appropriate experience in the procurement of equipment, provisioning of goods and services. Appropriate experience in bids and contracts will be an advantage. Appropriate experience of using the Electronic Procurement System (ePS) quotation tool, SEB and Syspro. Appropriate experience that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post. |

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of and exposure to the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), AOS, PT, NT instructions and regulations. Knowledge and experience of the ePS, Syspro/ Logis procurement system. |

Obtain quotations for equipment, services and/or consumable items via the ePS procurement system. Place orders with companies using the SYSPRO system. Complete entries on all kinds of procurement documents, registers and equipment purchasing schedules. File source documents. Perform other tasks as provided by the supervisor of Supply Chain Management. Resolve telephonic and written enquiries from suppliers (companies) and user departments. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

Remuneration:
|
R 202 233 per annum - R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
