Relevant knowledge, skills and experience of financial systems, processes, procedures, prescripts, and legislative framework (PFMA, NTR’s, etc.) Knowledge of BAS, PERSAL, LOGIS or SYSPRO. Knowledge of Annual Financial Statements, Expenditure, A & L accounts, and suspense accounts. Good leadership and Managerial skills and the ability to work under pressure and independently. Ability to manage and develop staff. Must be Computer literate in MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. |

Support the Assistant Director: Finance in executing the hospital’s strategic objective. Expenditure Management by processing BAS and Logis Payments for Goods, Services, Leases and Rental Contracts, management of Creditor’s Accounts and Remittance of Payments. Authorize transactions on LOGIS and BAS. Maintain and clear Assets and Liabilities Accounts, process journals and follow up on outstanding transactions as well as maintain debtors. Management of the Cashier’s Office including Receipts, Petty Cash and Safe keeping of State Monies. Maintaining Effective Internal Controls including Document Control, Compliance, accurate allocation of SCOA codes and ensuring payments are processed within 30 days. Ensure timeous and accurate monthly reporting and with regards to the Annual Financial Statements. R359 517 - R420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
