Appropriate experience in Information Management and Patient Administration, Health Information Systems and end-user systems support. | | |
Assist SAO in all health statistics within the Sub-District. Responsible for good quality data, PHC, HAST, CBS. Assist Information management in implementation of information systems, including DITCOM process. Render a supportive function to primary health care facilities in Stellenbosch Sub-District, with regards to information management. Render an effective patient registration service. Ensure audit compliance and maintain accurate data recording within Admissions. Admit, register, assess patients, open folders and raise invoices as per WCG Hospital Fees policies and procedures. Medical records functions - keep record, file and retrieve folders. Office administration with regards to filing process, telephone and letters, office equipment and ordering of stock. Effective assistance, support to supervisor, colleagues and other components. Supportive function to SAO and facilities with regards to folder management. | | |
Good numerical, data analysis, presentation and training skills and leadership abilities. Good working knowledge and experience of Health Information Systems (Clinicom, PHCIS, Sinjani, Ideal Facility, Tier.net, PHCIS TB module and BI), including monitoring and evaluation of performance information and systems. Knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum 18, UPFS, HIS, Clinicom, Billing and Finance instructions. Advanced computer skills in Ms Office (i.e., Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). | | |

Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages in the Western Cape. Willingness to work shifts and/or overtime over weekends when required on short notice. | |

Remuneration:
|
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
