Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) especially in the Procurement environment and/or Investigative and Policy/Case writing skills. Appropriate Supply Chain Management knowledge and experience within a Government SCM environment. |

Appropriate knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management legislation, bid administration, tendering processes, and provisioning. Appropriate knowledge of the LOGIS/Syspro, IPS or a similar Procurement Management System. Ability to interpret and apply supply chain policies, procedures and prescripts. Knowledge of demand, acquisition, contract and bid management policies, prescripts, and procedures. Computer literacy. All round operational experience in Supply Chain Management. Knowledge and interpretation of Public Finance Management act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations and Instructions, Accounting Officers System and SCM delegations. Efficient and effective report writing. |

Appropriate three year National Diploma/Degree. |
|
|
Handle enquiries in a timeous and professional manner. Liaise with end users and suppliers, follow up on services rendered. Review Supply Chain Management: Accounting Officers System and Delegations. Provide comment and input on proposed SCM legislation and procedures. Development of relevant Departmental policy, guidelines, etc. in line with identifies risks ERM assessment, Audit reports, PT assessments, etc.). Compiling and issuance of SOP’s and SCM instructions. Manage and treat events of SCM. Efficient handling of complaints. Perform an effective and efficient helpdesk function to create a fully compliant procurement environment. Maintain an abuse case register. Filing to be available for auditing purposes. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517-R 397 104 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
