Appropriate experience of Patient Administration in a Healthcare Environment. Appropriate experience in Clinicom and AR. |

Effective and efficient management of Accounts Receivables and ICD10 coding Perform Cashier Duties (Collection of state monies, allocations on Bas, issuing of receipts) Record and capture all patient information and activities (admissions, update Hectis and discharge of patients) accurately and promptly on Clinicom. Billing and charge entries accounts, raising and releasing of invoices and debiting of charge entries to invoices as per UPFS. Assist with account queries- corrections and payment of accounts. Handling Medico Legal queries Handle relevant queries and complaints from patients. Perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor. |

Good interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum Chapter 18, PFMA, UPFS, Clinicom and Finance instructions. Ability to perform Medical Aid related transactions in the billing system. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRAs) of the post. |

Willingness to work overtime when required and/or shifts, including night shift, weekends and on public holidays, when required. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
