Computer literacy in Microsoft office (Microsoft word, outlook, Excell) Knowledge of PFMA act, Treasury Regulations and Instructions, Divisions of Revenue Act(DORA) Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of Hospital Fees, Clinicom, AR, BAS, UPFSs. | | |
Correctly assess, bill, release and submit invoices (Medical Aid, Subsidised, SANDF, SAPS,DCS, MVA, COID, Foreigners, etc.) Regular follow-up of EDI-rejections, Sharepoint reports, unallocated credits, medical aid systems, state department claims (SANDF/DCS/SAPS), debt older than 60/120 days, MVA/COID, debt above R10 000, payment arrangements and debt relieve. Follow-up and handle Medical Legal cases and debtor queries and complaints. Daily, weekly, monthly reconciliation of State monies between AR, Clinicom and BAS. Clearing Banking sub account, preparing FINN 448, clearing Inter and Medscheme accounts. Debit Charge entries to invoices as per UPS and PGWC billing procedures including ICD10, capturing. Perform cashier duties, issuing of receipts, control of Petty cash and safe keeping of State Monies as well as effective Revenue Administration. | | |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and / or Accountancy as a passed subject and / or a Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experiences competencies that focusses on the key performance areas of the post. | | |
Valid driver’s licence (code B/EB). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in two of the three official languages of Western Cape. | |

Remuneration:
|
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
