Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in the field. |

Conversance with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85). Willingness to be on standby and work overtime. |

General maintenance and repair of electrical items and equipment. Manage the control of tools, equipment and stock. Ability to maintain mechanical and electrical installations, as well as all General Maintenance work. Render assistance to the chief artisan and effective supervision and training of subordinates. The ability to perform basic duties and record-keeping. |

Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in an area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in an area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. |

Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence and willingness to travel. Willingness to be available after hours. Ability to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 220 533 - R 244 737 per annum, Grade B: R 258 753 - 285 396 per annum, Grade C: R 299 361 - R 368 070 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
