Inherent requirement of the job:
Ability to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) Official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Requirement:
An appropriate 3 – year National Diploma or Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Hospital Fees and information management. Appropriate experience in relevant Hospital Information Management System.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of Public Financial Management Act. Knowledge of all relevant financial regulations/ instructions. Knowledge of Clinicom, AR, BAS, JAC and SINJANI. Advanced Computer Literacy.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Supervision and control of Admission, fees, medical records and information management. Section by efficiently administrating admissions of patients; ensuring that all relevant information is obtained from patient; a positive patient experience is created and CLINICOM is updated. Management of Revenue Section by keeping patients informed with regard to account balances; enquiries updating of information; reconcile of attendances as well as disposals and Cash – ups. Case Management responsibilities. Overall stewardship of Patient Administration within clinical departments and wards. Management account statements by EDI Management Queries resolution, Monthly Clinicom/ BAS reconciliation and mandatory Monthly Reporting. Administration of Records Management Section by prompt and accurate supplying of files (med records) to reception, storage, tracking and control thereof. Management and presentation of data. Support to staff and supervisor.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 359 517 per annum - R 420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
