A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paramedic / ECP after registration. |
|
|
An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Paramedic or ECP. |
|
|
Establish and maintain a governance system within operations. Ensure community and organisational stakeholder engagement to allow for better responsiveness to the community. Implementation and oversight of improvement projects within EMS. Strengthening and improvement of service delivery through collaborative partnership and engagement. Collaborative engagement with volunteer organisations and volunteers to strengthen partnerships. Responsive coordination and management of operations as it relates to emergency and non-emergency care within the province. Respond to and manage health emergencies and major incidents within the province, and in collaboration with all stakeholders. Ensure adequate capacitation and agility for Major Incident Response. Manage the health and safety of patients, staff and working environments. Act as a strategic link between finance and supply chain management and operations. Ensure, through oversight and intervention, that all People Management policies and procedures are adhered to within operations. Ensure that complaints, enquiries and compliments are responded to in a timeous manner. |

Registration with the Health Professions Council of South (HPCSA) Africa as a Paramedic or ECP. |
|
|
Strong leadership, strategic, operational and contingency planning, managerial and organizational skills. Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point). |
|
|
Valid Code 10 Drivers License and PrDP. Literacy and proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |
|
|
|
|
Remuneration:
|
R 1 065 009 per annum - R 1 214 805 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
