Relevant knowledge, skills and experience of financial systems, processes, procedures, prescripts, and legislative framework (PFMA, NTR’s, etc.) Knowledge of BAS, PERSAL and LOGIS. Knowledge of Annual Financial Statements, Budget, Expenditure, and suspense accounts Computer literacy. Good leadership and Managerial skills and the ability to work under pressure and independently. |

Support the Assistant Director: Finance in executing the hospital’s strategic objective. Effectively manage the Creditors section to achieve its goals and targets. Ensure timeous and accurate monthly reporting and with regards to the Annual Financial Statements. Interpret, apply, and ensure compliance of financial policies, regulations and instructions as practiced in the Public Sector. Authorize transactions on LOGIS and BAS. Maintain and clear Assets and Liabilities Accounts, process journals and follow up on outstanding transactions as well as maintain debtor accounts and manage Subsistence and Travel Claims. |

Valid driver’s licence. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517 per annum - R 420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
