Senior Admin Officer: SCM (Inventory and Warehouse Management)

Note:

Requirements:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in the full spectrum of Supply Chain Management, specifically with regards to Inventory and Warehouse Managements
 
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
Good management and supervisory skills. Knowledge of PFMA, Finance instructions, Treasury regulations, inventory management procedures, warehouse management and electronic materials management system. Knowledge of SYSPRO would be an advantage. Knowledge and ability to apply the disciplinary Code. Computer literacy in Microsoft Package (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Good written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Render an effective, efficient and economic service in all aspects of Inventory and Warehouse Management. Liaise with Chief users with regards to any queries which may arise. Manage inventory, consumable stock levels and quarterly stock take process. Perform all warehouse management functions to ensure the availability of inventory and consumables. Perform disposal Management functions with regards to assets and expired/redundant stock. Liaise with end users, service providers and other Governmental Departments regarding Supply Chain matters. Develop and train staff in Supply Chain Management. Manage the performance and development of own staff.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 359 517 per annum - R 420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
