Responsible for the management of Staff Performance Management System and Permis, which include render training and information session, conducting annual audits, assisting with grievances and disputes, give general support to sub-districts, conclude the SPMS cycle and give support with poor performers. Responsible to keep grade progression database up to date and ensure correct implementation of grade progression and Occupational Specific Dispensation prescripts. General reasonable administration tasks. Rendering assistance with all transversal personnel practices, including all employment practices, conditions of service and terminations within the District including pay progression. Handling of all ad hoc HR-projects and audits e.g. Wellness day, Long Service Awards Ceremony, Team Recognition Awards Ceremony etc. Support Recruitment and Selection and Establishment Administration when necessary. |

Sound knowledge of Staff Performance Management System (SPMS) and Permis and excellent training and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Computer literacy (MS Office: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point) and PERSAL. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in 2 of the 3 official Languages of the Western Cape. |

Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within the district. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517-R 397 104 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
