Appropriate experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of Human Resource Management in the Public Service with the emphasis on all aspects of personnel administration. Appropriate Supervisory experience. Appropriate experience and knowledge of the PERSAL system. |

Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree. |

Good verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective presentation of policies as well as report writing. Sound practical computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook and Teams Sound knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and Collective Agreements regarding People Management. |

Perform relief function at Health facilities in the absence of People Management Staff Assist with People Management processes with regard to identified functions: backlogs, grade progressions, OSD gradings, Debt management, service terminations, E-Disclosures, RWOEE applications, etc. Ensure rectifications of Auditor-General Reports, Internal Auditors reports as well as People Management Compliance reports. Identify training needs, implement programs for training of staff and the People Management component as well as conduct and facilitate formal functional training to Line managers regarding the correct application of People Management Legislation, policies, practices and conditions of service. Sample testing of People Management Audits on HR Audit Action Plan to verify correct reporting. Perform client services function e.g. PM Helpdesk regarding Conditions of Service. Provide efficient support to managers during HRM Risk Management Analyses, Ad Hoc investigations, inputs towards policies, etc. applicable to Conditions of Service. |

Valid Code 8 (B, EB) driver’s licence (certified copy). Willingness to work away from home on continuous basis. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:
|
R 359 517 per annum - R 420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
