Sterilisation Operator Production

Experience:
Appropriate experience in cleaning, packing and sterilisation of equipment and instruments.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Be able to do physical work and shifts, work on weekends and public holidays, when required. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the western cape.
 
Requirement:
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) /grade 9 (Std 7).
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of cleaning materials and agents. Knowledge of hospital hygiene and sterilisation. Ability to operate equipment effectively and efficiently.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Reception, collection, cleaning, controlling, packing, sterilisation and distribution of equipment, linen and instruments. Biological and chemical testing of sterilisation units. Report safety risks. Perform duties in absence of colleagues when necessary. Optimal support to supervisor and colleagues.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 147 036 - R 170 598 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
