Approriate experience in a hospital fees/finance environment. Appropriate experience in the HIS Accounts Receivable System. Appropriate experience in the Basic Accounting System (BAS) Appropraite experience in the application of Microsoft Word and Excel, including compiling reports. |

Knowledge of the Hospital Fees policies and procedures. Knowledge of the HIS, Accounts Receivable System. Knowledge of BAS and Financial System Reports. Knowledge of the PFMA, NTR and PTI’s and the Department’s Financial Delegations. Knowledge of the Western Cape Health Facility Boards and Committees Act and Regulations. Knowledge in the compilation and interpretation of Financial Statements. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel). Preparedness to work overtime and travel when required. |

Monitor, analyse, report on and distribute monthly debt management reports. Prepare quarterly outstanding hospital fees balances for PT & NDOH. Prepare inputs for the Interim and Annual Financial Statements of the Department. Prepare and capture journals and request relevant financial reports on BAS. Capture revenue budget on BAS (Original and Adjustments budgets). Assist and train Health Facility Board’s (HFB) staff on the completion of financial statements. Oversee compliance and submission of HFB financial statements to Head Office. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRAs) of the post. |

Valid (code B/EB) drivers licence and experience in a hospital fees environment. |
|

Remuneration:
|
R 294 321-R 343 815 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
