Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Procurement) (3 posts)

Experience:
Appropriate LOGIS and Procurement experience. Appropriate EPS experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to function independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management and Finance administrative processes. Knowledge of the LOGIS systems. Knowledge of EPS systems. Knowledge of ESL. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National, Provincial Treasury, Regulations, Policies.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Manage acquisition of goods or services. Assist end-users with compilation of specifications. Procurement from transversal tenders, ESL, EPS and awarding of contracts. Monthly SCM reporting. Follow up on outstanding commitments. File all relevant documentation and ensure audit compliance. Handle supplier queries and regular communication with end-users.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post.
 
Note:
The job contents as indicated in the advertisement might be adjusted in terms of the service needs. Shortlisted candidates may be subject to a practical test. Only employees with the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid Code 8/EB driver’s license. Willingness to work after hours and weekends when required. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
