Appropriate experience in Human Resource Management: Establishment Control, APL, Advertising and Performance Management. Appropriate supervisory experience. |

Appropriate three-year National degree or diploma. |
|
|
Effective management of the Performance Management, Advertising and Establishment Control (including the joint staff establishment) sections and maintain a balanced APL. Analyse data and reports, compile stats and present the information. Administration of RWOEE. Ensure effective implementation and application of the Staff Performance Management System (SPMS) process and administer and implementation of Grade Progression and Pay Progression for all categories of staff. Provide training and advice regarding the application of People Management policies and prescripts. Supervise and develop staff and render support to supervisor and colleagues when needed. |

Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Extensive knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, practises relevant to Recruitment and Selection, various OSD’s implementation and performance management. Analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and Excel. |

Remuneration:
|
R 331 188- R 390,129 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
