Experience:
Appropriate experience in Human Resource Management.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resource Management. Sound knowledge and appropriate experience of PERSAL Computer literacy (MS Office: Word. Excel and Powerpoint).

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for capturing transactions on PERSAL. Perform all administrative duties pertaining to the personnel administration section i.e appointments, sevice terminations, transfers, pension administration, salary administration, leave, housing, injury on duty, distribution of monthly pay slips, debt management, etc. Responsible for auditing of pension, personnel and leave files. Handle all personnel enquiries and correspondence (written and verbal). File personnel data, policies, regulations and circulars and maintain registers, i.e. PILIR. Commuted Overtime, Appointments and Service Terminations. Assist staff, supervisor, management and members of the Public with regard to Human Resource and Personnel matters and effective support service to Supervisor, i.e. relief duties, attending meetings.
 
Requirements:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
152 862 - 180 063 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
