Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management. Appropriate experience in BAS.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills (verbal and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of SCM processes and the Accounting Officer System. Knowledge of BAS.

Requirement:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and /or Accounting as a passed subject and /or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
The undermentioned duties pertain to maintenance related procurement: Demand and Acquisition: Capture and register all project requests. Informal Quotations – create events, retrieval of quotations and adjudications. Formal Quotations – CIDB Tender process, Tender management process, adjudication process and tender awards. Preparation of documentation for the QC/ tender committee. Provide secretarial support to QC and tender committee. Prepare and process all documentation for payments. Maintain engineering projects database. General duties: Responsible for the general administration of the engineering office. Safekeeping of supporting documentation and ensure that it is available for audit purposes. Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative requirements.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310- R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
