Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Asset Management)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management. Appropriate experience in LOGIS and Integrated Procurement Solutions (ePS) systems.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Extensive knowledge of relevant financial prescripts, departmental policies, delegations, and procedures. Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform monthly BAS/LOGIS reconciliations. Undertake annual and Interim asset counts, reporting of losses, theft, shortages, and surpluses. Assist with monthly, IFS and AFS reporting. Day to day administrative duties, audit compliance and handling of enquiries written and telephonically. Manage demand, procurement and disposals of assets and the Equipment Procurement Plan. Advertise on ePS, preparing quotes for award and adjudication.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA's) of the post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
