Senior Administrative Officer: Human Resource Management (Recruitment and Selection)

Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate 3-year Diploma/Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate Human Resource Management: Recruitment and Selection experience. Appropriate supervisory experience.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensure an effective and efficient management of the Recruitment and Selection section and the correct implementation of HR policies and circulars relevant to the section. Investigate and respond to queries as well as assist and advise in respect of grievances with regards to Recruitment and Selection. Ensure proper safekeeping of all documents. Supervision and development of subordinate. Render support to supervisor and colleagues when needed.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Extensive knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, practises relevant to Recruitment and Selection and various OSD’s implementation. Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Remuneration:
R 321 543 - R 378 765 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
