Appropriate Trade Test Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical). |

Conversance with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85). Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Fluency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

|
Five years post-qualification experience as an Artisan (After obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate). Appropriate supervisory experience in a multi-disciplinary workshop. Appropriate general maintenance experience. |
|
|
General maintenance and repair of all items and equipment. Manage the control of tools, equipment and stock. Maintenance of all installations. Assist with emergency breakdowns after hours and render assistance to the Artisan. Effective supervision and training of subordinates. Perform administrative duties and record-keeping. |

Valid Code B/EB driver’s license. Must be able to perform standby and overtime duties. Must be physically fit to perform duties. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 308,826-R 349,809 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
