Appropriate Clinicom and Patient Administration experience in an Out-patient Clinic Services. Appropriate Cashier experience. |

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel). Knowledge of UPFS manual, Hospital Memorandum Chapter 18, PFMA (Public Finance Management Act) and Medical Records. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent communication skills. Good numerical skills. Ability to accept accountability, responsibility, work independently. |

Render support to ensure an effective service with regard to patients and clients, admissions, registration, assessment, opening of folders and raising of invoices. Responsible for sound cash management, that of state custody and record keeping of state monies. Handle telephonic and personal enquiries with regard to patients. Effective co-operation and support to Supervisor, Colleagues and members of the Management team and Filing, Drawing of folders and any ad-hoc admin duties. Render an effective and efficient Patient administrative service at the Reception Point according to DOH policy and ensure accurate assessment of patients according to the means test and billing of patient accounts. Assess patients and Registering of new patients in accordance with complete relevant Clinicom system transactions, Hospital Memorandum 18 and UPFS manual. |

Remuneration:
|
R 176 310- R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
