Emergency Care Technician Grade 1 to 3

Requirements
Minimum educational qualifications:
• Successful completion of the Emergency Care Technician (ECT) Course that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Emergency Care Technician (ECT).

Inherent requirement of the job:
• Valid code C1 driver’s license.
• Valid C1 Professional driver’s permit.
• Physical and mental fitness
 
Experience:
• Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as Emergency Care Technician.
• Grade 2: 7 years after registration with the HPCSA as Emergency Care Technician (ECT).
• Grade 3: 14 years after registration with the HPCSA as Emergency Care Technician (ECT).
 
Registration with a professional council:

• Registration with the HPCSA as an Emergency Care Technician (ECT).
 
Service benefits:

Remuneration:
