2022/23 UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY CLINICAL ENGINEERING

Educational Qualification:
Applicants need to have completed and passed all S4 subjects required for the National Diploma in one of the following fields:
• Electrical Engineering – Light Current;
• Mechatronics;
• Mechanical Engineering;
• Clinical Engineering;
 
Requirements:
Inherent requirement of the job:
• Valid code B/EB drivers licence.

Note:

• Candidates will work on a rotation schedule between the Goodwood, Tygerberg, Groote Schuur and Red Cross clinical engineering units. They will spend approximately 3 months at each of these units. They will be provided with a module with specific aspects covering one month in each of the speciality units within clinical engineering - diagnostics, imaging, life support, optics. Each module will be concluded with a competency questionnaire
• WCG: Health will not be held responsible for any costs relating to relocation, subsistence and travelling. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only, who will be informed within three months after the closing date.
