Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Asset Management)

Inherent requirement of the job:
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to work under pressure independently and within a team. Knowledge of LOGIS system and Asset management functions. Knowledge of the PFMA, Treasury Directives and Legislation pertaining to Asset management work environment. The ability to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Asset management environment.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Conduct stock takes and ad hoc inspections. Assist with disposal of redundant obsolete and unserviceable items in accordance to the existing prescripts. Barcoding and tracking of assets. Maintaining the master asset register. LOGIS system management. Provide administrative support to supervisor. Assist with implementation of relevant asset management policies.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and /or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
