Administration Clerk: Admissions

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Accurate patient assessments and admissions on Clinicom system. Complete patient discharge documentation and system discharges. Attend to patient queries (verbal and written). The effective and efficient services rendering to patients. Responsible do effective record keeping. Accurate collection and safekeeping of state money.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Patient Administration in a hospital and/ or Community Health Centre environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel, Outlook (e-mail). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of Patient Registration. Knowledge of UPFS system.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work shifts (night duty, weekends and public holidays) and rotate between departments.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
