Perform asset management duties, procurement process towards ordering, receiving, and issuing furniture and equipment to the end user and preparing and submitting documents for payment. Barcode/ marking of newly acquired furniture and equipment. Perform annual asset count and update asset register regularly. Assist with monthly reporting for asset section and perform general LOGIS system functions pertaining to asset management. Ensure that updated Location Personnel count/control sheets are behind doors in locations within the institution. Assist in warehouse management and other functions within supply chain management on a rotational basis. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post. |
|
|
Sound theoretical and experience of Supply Chain Management in asset functions. Good communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook). Logis and Electronic Procurement System (EPS). |
|
|
Willingness to work after hours and weekends when required. |
|
|

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
