Artisan Foreman: Grade A (Plumbing)

Requirement:
Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Be conversant with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
 
Experience:
Five years relevant post qualification experience as an Artisan.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform necessary supervisory and administrative functions. Control over tools and materials. Train and supervision of subordinates. Assist and supervise the execution of engineering projects/repairs at hospitals and health institutions. Maintain and repairs of plumbing installations and equipment at health institutions within the Metro. Assist Chief Artisan with their duties.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Perform standby duties. A valid drivers licence (Code B/EB) and willing to travel throughout the Western Cape.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade A: R 304 263- R 344 640 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
