Requirements:
|
1. PURPOSE OF ROLE
This role is responsible for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting into information for Survey and Valuation use as per the latest Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine Standards, Procedures and Survey Best Practice Guidelines.
2. WORK OF ROLE
- Administering effective information recording systems
- Analyse the latest design plan
- Capturing data onto appropriate systems
- Checking of all survey related attributes within the electronic environment
- Communicate survey instructions on the latest approved design
- Issuing electronic survey instructions and notifications including holing warnings
- Performing monthly production measuring
- Performing underground excavation measurements
- Spatial checking of survey pegs
3. QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12
• Advanced Chamber of Mines Survey and Valuation Certificate or BTech in Mineral Resource Management
4. EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years mine surveying experience
• Must obtain MS (SAIMM / PLATO / IMSSA) membership after appointment
5. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy for role
• Knowledge of MRM systems
• Check survey experience
