Requirements:
|
1. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Winding Engine Driver is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the shaft winder for the haulage of ore, persons, and materials during a shift.
2. WORK OF ROLE (INCLUDING AUTHORITIES AND OUTPUTS)
Safe and effective operation of the winder during a shift, within the framework of the act and identifying electrical and/or mechanical faults - Operating a winding engine
3. QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12
• Winding Engine Driver Certificate
4. EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Winding Engine Driver
5. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• WED special medical examination (Red Ticket)
- Gamma GT
- Urine
- Lungs
- Eyes
- Colour Blindness
