Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description - Provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Business Area. The underground Boilermaker provides engineering technical service to a logistics Supervisor and is responsible for all underground boiler-making within the business area
2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate or Equivalent
- Certified competent as Boilermaker (Trade Test) is required
- 3 years underground mining experience as a Boilermaker
3. Advantageous
- Experience in Trackless mining environment
- Pipe development and construction
- Conveyor belt construction and maintenance
4. Skills and Knowledge
- Interpersonal Skills
- Knowledge of Labour Legislation
- Prioritizing Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Problem-Solving Skills
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Obtain medical fitness certificate
- Code 08 Driver’s License
- Clear Credit / Criminal Record
