Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description - Provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Business Area. The underground Boilermaker provides engineering technical service to a logistics Supervisor and is responsible for all underground boiler-making within the business area.
2. Minimum Requirements - Certified competent as a Boilermaker (Trade Certificate) Required - Grade12 or NQF4 Equivalent Required - 3 Years’ Boilermaker Experience in a Mining Environment Required - 3 Years’ Conveyor Belt Experience Required - 3 Years’ Chairlift Maintenance Experience Required
3. Advantageous - Fixed Infrastructure Experience (Mechanical Rock Breakers. Structures, Feeders, Chutes, Overhead Cranes) - Conveyor maintenance and construction
3. Skills and Knowledge - Problem Solving - Time Management Skills - Communication Skills - Interpersonal Skills - Knowledge of MHSA Labour Legislation
5. Physical/Legal Requirements - Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness - Clear Credit/Criminal Record - Valid Driving License
