Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management (Assets)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in a Supply Chain Management.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Co-ordinate and control all asset management processes including demand, acquisition and disposal management. Perform LOGIS and IPS functions and ensure that all transactions comply with legislative requirements (Compliance). Submission of monthly asset management reporting and inputs to the Interim/Annual Financial Statements. Supervision of staff within the asset management component.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good supervisory skills. Good communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of the PFMA, Financial and Supply Chain Regulations. Knowledge of LOGIS and IPS systems. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid Code (B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508- R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
